FORMER GENERAL DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY & OPERATIONS AND INNOVATION OF SANTANDER GROUP

He is a Superior Aeronautical Engineer from the UPM (Polytechnic University of Madrid), a Master’s Degree in Epistemology of Natural & Social Sciences from the UCM (Complutense University of Madrid) and a Master’s in Financial Management & Control from IE (IE Business School).
He is president of the venture capital company Chamberí Ventures SCR, SA and founder and CEO of Ecosistemas de Innovación Digitales, SL. He was General Director of Technology & Operations and Innovation and a member of the Santander Group management committee.

He collaborates in different civil society projects: president of the Sicómoro Foundation, dedicated to the study of complex systems, treasurer of the Spanish Royal Academy of Sciences Foundation (FRACE) and president of their association of friends (aRAC) and member of the Spanish chapter of the Rome Club.

He has been a member of several boards of directors, among others, Banco Español de Crédito (Spanish Credit Bank), Banco Santander UK, Banco Santander Germany, Banco Santander USA, Sistemas 4B, Openbank (president) and Universia.

He is an ad-honorem professor at the UPM (Polytechnic University of Madrid) and a member of the U3CM (University Carlos III of Madrid) circle of friends.
